As a creative director at Etsy, I helped oversee the brand design team in our New York and Berlin offices. I also helped develop the global brand strategy, brand voice guidelines, consumer segmentation, corporate values, and a whole lot in between.

I worked on all sorts of different projects across markets - from consumer facing social campaigns to digital seller guides to beautiful mailers sent to our wholesale clients to event partnerships with John Lewis, West Elm, and Galeries Lafayette.

 

It’s always rewarding when your brand strategy line ends up as the campaign tag line. Also, when your words are said out loud by Nick Offerman.

 
 

I also played client on Etsy’s first ever advertising campaign "Difference Makes Us" , which taught me how to see creative from the other side of the table, how to truly judge ideas from a business perspective, and perhaps most importantly, how to empathize with clients.
